World Health Day is enthusiastically promoted by ‘WHO’ the World Health Organization on the 7th of April and this year’s main topic/theme is “DEPRESSION – Let’s Talk”

The campaign’s aim this year is to have more people with depression, in all countries both seek and get help. According to the latest WHO estimates, over 300 million persons are now living with depression – which is an increase of more than 18% between 2005 & 2015!!

During the Ottawa Charter for Health Promotion in 1986, the WHO said that health is:

“a resource for everyday life, not the objective of living. Health is a positive concept emphasizing social and personal resources, as well as physical capacities.”

Baywood says stay strong, always smile, live life to the fullest, work hard, play harder, laugh lots and enjoy everyday.
